HKLIVING: Dutch Desiner Teun Zwets doesn’t design politely; and that’s exactly why we wanted to work with him. His approach is unfiltered: loud colors, unapologetic gloss, rough materials that look like they’ve been dragged straight out of the workshop. There’s no ego in the work, but there is attitude.
Together we pushed furniture into a new territory, one where a chair or accessory doesn’t just blend in, it leads. These pieces behave more like characters than static objects. They challenge the idea that furniture has to be neutral, soft-spoken or predictable. With Teun, the question was never “Does this fit the interior?” but “Does this deserve a spot in the interior?” It's bold, it’s brave, and it sets a new bar for what functional art can look like.
